Ethiopia will inaugurate its newly built 25,155 seater Woldia Stadium early next month. The stadium is built at an outlay of 567 million Birr and it took 4 years to finish it.
The stadium is said to be equipped with courts for basketball, handball, volleyball and tennis as well as swimming pool. These facilities, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate, meet the requirements for hosting Olympic Games.
In addition to these facilities, the stadium is also equipped with track and guest house.
The stadium was financed by the tycoon, Sheikh Mohammed Al Amoudi.
