Vogue’s Social Editor, Chloe Malle, can often be found running to and from parties, events, and fashion shows in New York and Europe. She’s also fond of “going running in new cities,” which is one reason why her trainers are among the first items she packs when readying her suitcase for a trip. No matter where she is jetting, Malle always packs a few necessities: “I always bring a soft T-shirt in case the pillowcase isn’t soft,” she explains. She also brings along a linen lingerie bag to “double as a laundry bag,” as well as something to keep her sanity on the long flight: “Bose headphones block every baby out.”
For this trip, Malle is off to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and while the majority of the items in her suitcase are purely practical—“the most important thing is medication”—the stylish editor doesn’t leave home without a bit of humor. “I like to pack my toiletries in Anya Hindmarch’s googly eye bags.”
